What is the installation sequence and method of belt conveyor?

The conveyor belt conveyor maintenance must carry out the installation step by step according to the sequence, so as to ensure the successful installation and do not delay the investment of belt conveyor funds into production and manufacturing applications. Installation process of belt conveyor

1. Install the frame of the conveyor belt. The installation of the frame is gradual, and then install the middle frame of each section in turn to place the tail frame. Before installing the rack, first pull down the center line on the total length of the conveyor. Since maintaining the center line of the conveyor on a parallel line is the main standard for the normal operation of the conveyor belt, when installing each rack, be sure to point to the center line. At the same time, it is also necessary to build the rack and level the ground. The allowable deviation of the rack from the center line is ± 0.1mm per meter. However, the deviation from the frame core in the total length of the conveyor exceeds 35mm. When all sections are added and selected correctly, each section can be connected to each other.

2. Install the pushing equipment. When installing the pushing equipment, be sure to make the rotating shaft of the belt conveyor vertical with the center line of the belt conveyor, so that the middle of the spacing of the pushing barrel overlaps the center line of the conveyor, and the center line of the reducer is parallel to the rotating axis. At the same time, all shafts and drums should be leveled on the ground. The horizontal deviation of the shaft is allowed to be within the range of 0.5-1.5mm according to the width of the conveyor. At the same time of installing the driving equipment, tension devices such as tail wheels can be installed. The transmission drum line of the tension device should be vertical to the center line of the belt conveyor.

3. Installation of idlers after the installation of the frame, transmission system and tensioning device, the idlers of the left and right idlers can be installed, so that the conveyor belt has a slow bending arc, and the width of the idlers in the bending section is 1/2 ~ 1/3 of the normal idlers gap. After the idler is installed, its rotation should be sensitive and cheerful.

4. The selection of conveyor belt is to ensure that the conveyor belt operates on the center line of idler and barrel from beginning to end. When installing idler, frame and barrel, it must meet the following requirements:

(1) All idlers must be arranged in rows, parallel to each other, and realize horizontal leveling.

(2) All the barrels are arranged in rows, parallel to each other.

(3) The supporting structure must be parallel and horizontal.

Therefore, the center line and level of the conveyor should be aligned after pushing the installation of the barrel and idler frame.

5. Then fix the rack on the basic or concrete floor. After the belt conveyor is fixed, the feeding and dumping equipment can be installed.
